About

downwithvowels is the occasional blog of Brianna Smrke, an interdisciplinary-minded futurist and visual thinker who cares deeply about the fate of the planet. The world is her classroom and her project (and the reverse might also be true). The only logical way to deal with the glut of opportunities that have come her way is to share her experiences with others, hoping to educate, inspire, challenge, and, at the very least, entertain. Currently, Brianna is a member of the founding class of Minerva. Previously, she was a founding fellow at Studio Y, and a co-founder of the McMaster Social Innovation Lab. When Brianna is not involved in founding things, she enjoys spending time with her grandmothers and listening to life stories. She thanks you for your curiousity about her work, self and life.

Browse a portfolio of her work here and a gallery of her graphic recordings here.

Quite an interesting subject! Following you and will be back for more. Do glance if inclined at a very different subject – the story of the awakening of a spent nation written in verse at http://www.nirbhayasindia.com
